Barzi Chili Fix

One of Barzi's most well-known products, Barzi Gourmet Chili Fix, is a combination of fresh, aromatic herbs and spices for that perfect chili taste.


Ingredients

  • 1 Pound Coarse Ground Beef (Also Called Chili Ground)
  • 2 Tablespoons Butter
  • 1 Medium Onion Finely Chopped
  • 1 Medium Green Pepper Finely Chopped
  • 1 Tablespoon Barzi Brand Minced Garlic
  • 1 Tablespoon Barzi Brand Ground Cumin
  • 1 Tablespoon Barzi Brand Whole Basil
  • 1 Teaspoon Barzi Brand Whole Oregano
  • 4 Tablespoon Barzi Brand Chili Fix
  • 1 15-oz. Can Pinto Beans (Drained And Rinsed)
  • 1 15-oz. Can Red Kidney Beans (Drained And Rinsed)
  • 3 Cups Beef Broth
  • 1 6-oz. Can Tomato Paste
  • 1 28-oz. Can Diced Tomatoes
  • Salt And Pepper To Taste

Directions

  1. Brown ground beef in a 5-qt Dutch oven or soup pot over high heat.
  2. Drain fat from meat, set aside beef.
  3. Melt butter in a pan and add onion and pepper.
  4. Sauté in melted butter until translucent, return meat to pan.
  5. Add Barzi Brand Minced Garlic, Barzi Brand Ground Cumin, Barzi Brand Whole Basil, Barzi Brand Whole Oregano, and Barzi Brand Chili Fix and stir.
  6. Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 45 min to 1 hour.
  7. Serve garnished with a dollop of sour cream and shredded cheddar cheese.

Minced Garlic


White Chili


Ingredients

  • 3 Tablespoon Butter
  • 1 Medium Onion Finely Chopped
  • 1 Lb. Of Chicken Breast Cut Into Cubes
  • 1 Tablespoon Barzi Brand Minced Garlic
  • 1 Tablespoon Barzi Brand Ground Cumin
  • 1 Teaspoon Barzi Brand Whole Oregano
  • 3 Tablespoon Barzi Brand Chili Fix
  • 2 15-oz. Canned White Beans (Drained And Rinsed)
  • 1 15-oz. Can Whole Kernel Corn (Drained) Or 1/2-16 Oz Bag Frozen Corn
  • 1 4-oz. Can Green Chilies
  • 3 Cups Chicken Stock Home Made Or Canned
  • Salt And Pepper To Taste

Directions

  1. Melt butter in a 5-qt. Dutch oven or soup pot over high heat.
  2. Sauté onion in melted butter until translucent, add diced chicken meat and sauté for 5-8 min.
  3. Add Barzi Brand Minced Garlic, Barzi Brand Ground Cumin, Barzi Brand Whole Oregano, and Barzi Brand Chili Fix, and stir.
  4. Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 30- 40 min.
  5. Serve garnished with a dollop of sour cream and chopped green onion.

White Chili

Garlic Butter Grilled Corn with Parmesan


Ingredients

  • Garlic Butter Grilled Corn With Parmesan 4- 6 Ears Fresh Corn
  • 8-12 Teaspoons Barzi's Garlic Butter Seasoning Blend
  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil To Brush-On Corn
  • 8-24 Teaspoons Parmesan Cheese (Finely Grated)

Directions

  1. Heat outdoor grill to medium heat (350 degrees).
  2. Shuck Corn and remove all silks.
  3. Brush olive oil on each corn cob, and sprinkle with 2 teaspoons of Barzi's Garlic Butter Seasoning Blend.
  4. Place on grill and grill for 15-20 min turning every 3-4 min until lightly charred.
  5. Remove from grill and sprinkle each ear with 1-2 teaspoons of Parmesan cheese. Serves 4-6.
Garlic Butter Grilled Corn with Parmesan

Grilled Italian Stuffed Chicken Breast


Ingredients

  • 4 6-oz. Boneless Chicken Breasts
  • 1/2 Cup Ricotta Cheese
  • 1/2 Cup Cream Cheese (Softened)
  • 4 Sundried Tomatoes Finely Chopped
  • 2 Tsp. + 2 More Tsp. For Sprinkling Barzi's Garlic Butter Seasoning Blend
  • 2 Tsp. Barzi's Italian Seasoning
  • 1 Tablespoon Parmesan Cheese

Sauce Ingredients

  • 1 28-oz. Can Crushed Tomatoes
  • 2 Tbls. Barzi's Garlic Butter Seasoning Blend
  • 2 Tbls. Barzi's Italian Seasoning
  • 2 Tbls. Balsamic Vinegar
  • 1 Tbls. Sugar
Grilled Italian Stuffed Chicken Breast

Directions

  1. Heat outdoor grill to Medium Heat (350 degrees).
  2. Place chicken breasts on a cutting board, and, using a small knife, cut a small pocket into the side of each breast — make sure not to cut through breast meat.
  3. Combine remaining ingredients (except for an additional 2 tsp. of Barzi's Garlic Butter Seasoning Blend).
  4. Blend well and place in zip lock bag.
  5. Cut a tip off one corner of zip lock and squeeze 1/4 of the mixture into the pocket of each chicken breast.
  6. Secure opening with toothpick or bamboo skewer.
  7. Sprinkle the surface of chicken with remaining Barzi's Garlic Butter Seasoning Blend.
  8. Place on grill and cook for 15-20 min or until meat is no longer pink.
  9. Mix together all ingredients for the sauce and bring to boil then simmer for 15-20 min.
  10. Serve grilled chicken topped with tomato sauce. The dish can be sprinkled with chopped parsley and grated parmesan cheese for garnish.
